Howdy, Retro Lovers! This awesome set of commercials was recorded on October 31st, 1976. Recorded onto a Beta tape, this airing comes from WNBC-TV New York, Channel 4. These original ads come from a one hour television special 'Life Goes to the Movies' (1976). I've included some original clips of the show for added interest. Enjoy!

Actually I thinks it's Jim Staahl, a Second City player who teamed with Bill Murray John Candy and Betty Thomas, had a recurring role in the 2nd season of Mork & Mindy. Also appeared in Spies Like Us. (does look like Begley though....)
