Ah, the old BBC B micro computer. Had one back in the 1980s. If my faulty memory services me correctly it included a course of BBC Basic. The "monitor" was a 12 inch black and white TV. Ah, the good old days. Thanks for the memories!

The good old days indeed - when I probably had even less idea of what I was doing... 😊 I read the BBC BASIC book cover to cover. It was pretty good. You had to plug it into a TV set although there was also a RGB out which gave a much better picture 😍

I had it's predecessor, the Acorn Atom. Before that, a Tangerine, but you could only program that in Hex. It was fun, in a not much fun after a while kind of way

You did a great job of demoing this plugin Ian. I was skeptical that you could get a good soundscape with retro sounds, but you really pulled it off! I'm with you... Fantasy Flute is a good sounding preset.

This was fun Ian, I really enjoyed it. Love the arp track(very TD-ish), and BitFlip has some great sounds it it. Love this track...how many total tracks are in this song? sounds quite full. Thanks for posting the info and music. :)

Hi Richard - Hope you are doing well. Thank you for listening and your kind comments. I can't get away from TD - they were one of my fave electronic groups - weren't they everyone's? 😊 There are 20- tracks in total although some double a line and some just contain short ear candy snippets 😊

Hi Ian. Thats a nice sounding synth. Takes me back to the days of the Demo scene. I know it's still a thing, but back in the 80s and 90s I was totally amazed at what those guys could do in just a few K of memory. Definitely want to download this. One for the notebook 😉

What I don't like is that one first has to register on their site, then download their hub application, which then downloads the plugin. I'd hope my antivirus software would check the "download" before I have to provide admin approval to install it, but I can't be sure about that. For all I know the hub application unpacks it and writes it directly to the drive.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of this sort of stuff but, alas, it is becoming the norm. Windows Defender is pretty good at picking up dodgy stuff although I think 'reputable' sites are mainly safe. It's the price we pay for 'free': kzbin.info/www/bejne/pIS4lmB5o6pkrdE
