Wow, that's amazing you found all these just 5 months ago! These seem like ancient history already. I just started buying them in November 2021 (also five months ago) and very few of these were still available then. I didn't even know many of these were made. What a trip!

Walmart did a great job remaking the original Gi joe figures. I have Destro, storm shadow ,snake eyes and the Cobra Officer but they sell out quickly at Walmart in Canada even online they are not always in stock. I wont collect all of them because for me the Gi joe pursuit of Cobra and 25th anniversary figures are better looking. The Walmart Gi joe Vehicles are great, if you didn't get them in the 80s, they are the same versions.

i remember the thumbs braking off eventually with the old ones . also the rubber band in the center of the figure would brake too

The "rubber band" or technically what is an O-Ring exactly like O-Rings used in plumbing are easily replaced by O-Rings you can pick up from Home Depot today...so long as they're the right size....and what I find worse than thumbs, at least on certain figures, is the waist piece that connects the t-bar, that holds the legs together, with the peg in the back that you access by removing the screw in the figures back....Beachhead, Duke V1, Zartan, Cobra Commander '83, Recondo, Scarlett '83, Serpentor and even later figs like Outback from '88....Zartan is a horse of a different color as with the OG figures color change gimmick simply removing the screw in the figures back isn't enough as the two pieces are arkwelded together so you have to very carefully split the two halves....but O-Rings can improve an otherwise un-displayable figure....just be careful and those Joe's and Cobra's that have notoriously flimsy waist pieces I'd recommend a thinner O-Ring....I've changed 1,000s myself. As for thumbs....unless you were a reckless kid I rarely had that problem buuuuut there are millions of lots online that are simply pieces of figures and you're much more likely to find an arm in good shape for a fair/decent price than a waist piece in tact for ANY of the figures I just mentioned.

I live in the UK , since this retro line came out I've never not even once seen them in any type of sci-fi shop ,collector shop or anywhere else . Once toys r us went under here in the UK the figure lines like he-man, star wars VC line ,gi Joe 3.75 and 6 inch are becoming available online only , it's crap, I hate eBay scalpers and do all I can to avoid paying more than £20 for any figure , it's very difficult to stick to my principles when I see a figure I'm desperately trying to find ,pop up on eBay for 35 / 40 quid , but I hate the thought of contributing to the whole scalper thing , it's taking ages to find storm shadow , it drives me nuts .

Got to say have been liking the retro series. Got almost all the retro ones the let out so far. But Been trying to get that storm shadow since came out. Unfortunately nearest Walmart to me is just over 90 miles one way. And since I’m paralyzed last few years from a department injury I don’t drive anymore so all my shopping is done online for figures. And wife sure as heck won’t buy anything like that for me. For a wide that thinks I’m stupid for recollecting stuff I used to bk in the 80s etc…Was lucky to get most the retro even snake eyes at the $12.99 etc price. But that storm shadow I have never seen online ever in stock since it came out for that Walmart price. Now unless want to pay the $70 plus for it on Walmarts other retailers on their site or Amazon that’s the only way seem to be able to get it if ever will be in stock, but honestly I won’t pay for anything over priced like that def on a fixed income as am on now and that huge pay cut had to take and go on disability. Had same issue with a lot of target cobra island but thankfully those are coming into stock some here and there now online. Won’t feed those scalpers. Hopefully one day I will check Walmart online out and see that storm shadow for the regular price and not scalpers price and it being in stock. Personally I like the retro collection. Think they are doing a good job. Do wish they used the write picture for the figure they have in package. As u showed showing the original card backing on package but having a figure that doesn’t look like it is kind of messed up in my eyes..thankfully we can see the figure we’ll enough. So far I have not been real happy with these new Joes. Some of them are very hard to pose without their limbs popping off their weapons don't always fit properly like they should in their hands or in their holding compartments like holsters and so on I don't think they really put much thought into these I got to say the old ones were better to a degree

These were the old ones were the best action figure design bar none I don't know if they copied anybody but it beat the hell out of He-Man with the stiff arms even though I loved them too.

Hello. Where did you find all these? I haven't been able to find any in WALMART other then: HISS 3 Stalker Cobra Trooper (and they're normally in abundance and discounted) I live in Philadelphia suburbs. Great video. Thanks for any feedback.
