LOVE THE VIDEO guys! Really thoughtful observations about all these different collecting fields. I loved to see what you guys collect, very excellent. I collect alcohol flasks actually. Moby, I feel ya as far as overbearing conservative parenting goes.. but I'm not gonna get into it! 😅

Haha thanks RP, I think mom would defend her moves to this day but even she admits sometimes she got it wrong. She banned Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles but said she never had a reason other than the concept being "weird". Hope you're doing well man.

sneakerheads and clowns with money stole the retro gaming scene to fleece and run up the values with fake hype just to resell.. glad i got most of my boxed consoles in the early 2000s, the early ebay, etc.. its a shame how the scene has been ruined by these people, its the same SAME guys that resell shoes at those cons, they dont care about gaming or the people buying, they just wanna separate you from your money.

I agree. It's a good thing I found my collection when I did. I couldn't imagine paying the prices they want now. I buy, fix, and sell. But I sell at reasonable prices based on what I had to put into it to get it to work. Not by, oh it is over 40 years old, it's an antique, it's worth $500. Lol.

cry cry you are the collector that hurts collector. I collect because I like games and I argue that you are the one that hurts collecting doing it for monitary value. Investments has ups and downs that how it works.

I'm pretty sure that's not directed towards me. Because I'm the opposite. I buy, fix and sell for very cheap. Not these exponential prices that these idiots decide to sell these systems for these days. Its destroying the collector market on classic video games and consoles. I collect for the love and the passion not for the monetary value, hence why none of my other collections have been graded. I'm almost positive you only watched like the first 5 minutes of this video and commented and then took off instead of watching the whole thing.

I'm pretty sure this comment is directed towards me, Moby, and it's a fair comment: I knew I'd get some heat for my stance and I said that in the show lol. I know I'm someone looking to make a buck off video games as an investment but it's more fun than trading stocks at least.
