Just followed! And that expo looked fun! And as far as those off colored and oddly shaped NES cartridges go, those were unlicensed titles that were able to make it to store shelves back in the day (no seal of approval on them). The black ones were from Tengen, which have an interesting history as they released some pretty decent games like Shinobi and After Burner. Not only that, but they also released their own version of Tetris before Nintendo caught on, put a stop to the company releasing any more unlicensed NES games and ended up releasing their own (Tetris).

I’m from LA and moved to sac in 1996 . I used to enter pinball competitions in the 1970’s .my kids are all amazing gamers on pc. I love your channel! I have a garage gamer room that’s pretty cool. I hope to go next year.

I was always more of an IBM guy, especially in high school when my dad let me have his 386 after upgrading to a pentium.... (before that, he had the 386 and he had given me the original IBM PC 8088 at 4.77 Mhz with 650 KB RAM)....but yeah we had NES, SNES, and N64, and I did have a gameboy too! The black and white one...I never had a color one. 🙂 I graduated 1996 🙂 I totally remember the TMNT cartoon.... "heroes in a half-shell! turtle power!" lol 🙂 You look beautiful in this one as always! Love your deep bright eyes 🙂 I am in Silicon Valley, grew up here, Sacramento isn't far, might have to check out that gamer expo at some point 🙂
