A lot of people tend to think Nintendo World NYC is this huge store. It really isn't. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice store, but actually kind of small. The idea of visiting the store is actually more exciting than the store itself. Then again, I live in NYC and have been to Nintendo World a quite a few times for there exclusives. To me it's just another store in a sea of a million stores in Midtown Manhattan. If you really want an experience, go to Brooklyn Videogame and Arcade or Video Games New York.

I really enjoyed Lost Words: Beyond the Page, but I'm someone who really likes more "indie" games. Also how it is like 2 games in one between the story of the girl saving her town and the story of a girl experiencing the loss of her grandmother. And the use of a game to talk about a real human experience of loss and grief is really cool. It could be a great way to explain the process of losing someone to kids.

If you're heading to the city out of Trenton, NJ Transit's way cheaper with the added flexibility of being able to take a train back whenever as opposed to booking a specific train through Amtrak. It'll take a little longer because there are more stops, but you would have been able to push back to a later departure time given your brunch ran over.
