Guess I'm the odd man out, but I like the skin that forms on the top.

I love homemade chocolate pudding, but its best when still warm.
@noreenskitchenchannel3 жыл бұрын
It’s alright that way. I prefer it ice cold

I also prefer it warm--there's just something "comforting" about it.

I start making this pudding last year. I had to search thru about 10 cookbooks from my vintage collection to find the recipe. First recipes used squares of chocolate and I wanted a frugal cocoa recipe. YEAH for you!

I have never made pudding from scratch. I tried your recipe and I will never go back to packaged pudding!! So delicious!!

It’s been at least five years since we changed our filming format. I am not in the videos for a reason. I refuse to subject myself to unsolicited name calling. Not to mention that his is simply more convenient logistically. I have posted a few face to face videos but it simply does not suit our format and our focus is on the recipes not me. I hope that helps you understand. Thanks for watching

Lol, I have been making cooked pudding for well, always. I was like what do you mean old fashioned, grandma's recipe then I realized I am a grandma now. Also you can use a dairy free milk, almond or coconut work best but rice milk will work but you might have to add a little more cornstarch. I use peanut butter in place of butter.

Poor Rick, has to be the taste tester, who is he kidding "if I have to" he loves it. It looks delicious, but I agree on top of ice cream is a little different, but as they say, don't knock it till you try it.

If you want to use whole milk only you can. It will not be as creamy if you don’t use heavy cream.
