Well the bad hit detection, unnecessary back tracking, blind jumps, cheap obstacles, and lack of power ups certainly didn’t help make this a good game did it.

If you're doing retros what about Tomb Raider Anniversary? Combat is terrible in today's standards but it was a great story. Or Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen (fantastic game) and you can summon your stalwart champions to get poned? Edit: to help
