This was my best Christmas ever. I was so hoping for it. But there were no big parcels under the tree so I wasn't hopeful. I opened a small packet and a peddle fell out and my dad said he would get the rest as soon as he could..... and 10 minutes later he wheeled it in front of the patio window and my mum opened the curtains to reveal it. I rode that thing to death. Went over the handles a few times. Did a billion endos, Kept it into my 20s hoping to restore it but lost it in a move. Had hoped to pass it to my son.

A mix of petrol and paraffin would be less ‘extreme’…. have you tried that ? I use plain paraffin for oily /.greasy car bits and bike chains… add a splash of petrol for more ‘bite’.

Handlebar angle on a BMX is slightly pulled back. The steering tube angle is usually 71-74°, so the handlebar should be somewhere between 80-85° for best handling. Just don't push too far forward and don't go beyond 90°. That's how the unhoused ride their Walmart BMX bikes.
