Thanks a lot for this video, I pulled my N64 controllers apart 2 weeks ago so I could paint them and I was like how the hell did this go again, I was trying to put the parts on the back of the controller 😂😂

@Joypad great video. I opened and cleaned my controller now it feels kinda loose. I didn't over or under tighten the screws. It makes loud kinda cracking like sounds when I flex it a bit. Any tips on how to fix this?

Most of the fix is great but my other problem is that the two slotted arms are worn as well. Have you encountered this problem? Have you fixed it?

Hi Josh, if you need to rebuild the slots on the two black arms you can do this with the same kind of hard plastics super glue used to repair the base. Keep applying layers to the worm away areas then use a small file to re-shape the slots. I hope that answers your question. George
