I think an unnapreciated moment of the Hardy win was the camera work, the camera didnt showed Hardy doing the swanton bomb on top ofthe pin, as a kid i was shocked and so happy

A true standout moment. When I think of "great camerawork in wrestling," there's the spot with Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels (sweet chin music that Bret avoided so he hit the timekeeper) and there's this. This was the definitive end to a match and a super unexpected result tho, so in terms of the whole moment I'd give it the edge (pun not intended, but definitely appreciated in retrospect).

I was there. HSBC Arena in downtown Buffalo, New York. Absolutely one of my favourite memories that I'll always keep. The broadcast will never properly convey just how loud the explosion of noise was when Jeff pinned Edge to win. And yeah, the celebration was amazing. Jeff was climbing every inch of the stage setup for a good 20 minutes after the broadcast cut out, his music still playing and every single person sticking around to celebrate with him.

I was there too. Still have my ticket stub. It was one of those moments where you just had to be there to fully grasp the live crowds reaction. Unfortunately 30 seconds later my dad said we had to go so we could beat traffic😅 so I didn't get to see him on top of the set. But still one of the greatest moments of my life.

I went to this event and in the thumbnail, the biggest highlight was Jeff Hardy becoming the new WWE Champion and I was so happy for him and that's why he's one my favorite wrestlers of all time

I just loved how Jeff celebrated after he won the title, it's like he was just euphoric and couldn't believe it. He even made a flip!! It made it feel just so much better. I love Jeff Hardy.

Freddie Prinze Jr was working for WWE at this time, and he was the one that convinced Vince to give Jeff the push and the title. He'd worked closely with Jeff for a while and fought hard for him to get this shot.

For what it's worth, I'd guess that Matt not coming out to celebrate with Jeff until after the PPV went off the air was something he did to "let Jeff have his moment" so that he wouldn't ruin it for him.
