This is one of your best tutorials as it really pulls together lots of little elements. If someone can do this on their own, they likely really understand the basics of fusion comps.

I enjoy your videos so much I watch them at normal speed, instead of double speed. You should understand that this is high praise.

Casey Faris great video which has come in handy for the currrent video Iam trying to edit. One problem Iam having which Iam not sure if it is a bug in Resolve, but I cannot create a duplicate pixel background, the second one the colour is slightly a different blue even when I create a duplicate fusion composition. Any ideas what maybe causing this or howto fix it?

Awesome video! By any chance, are there any tutorials out there that can turn voice clip like it was coming from an 8 bit or 16 bit game system, like SNES or Genesis? I've seen a lot of tutorials for the visuals, but can't find a single one for the audio on making something sound like a retro game with Davinci, let alone with Fairlight.

hey can you let me know ypur favorite tutorials. ive been trying to find some so i can make some retro 80's rpg inspired videos.
@drluigi3760 Жыл бұрын
@@seansgonewrong Yeah no problem. Do you mean 80's video game rpgs from the nes? And does it have to be from Davinci Resolve or can it be from another programs like Blender?

@@drluigi3760 ok, idk if i keep making too long of comments or what, but if you search "lukabigpants" thats the style of video im trying to make.

@@drluigi3760 i know its retro/vhs video effects, stop-motion and freeze framingkor pictures?), masking(for the eyes and arms -idk how he does the arms actually) and i dont know how he adds the other elements into some of his scenes. id like to add other elements similar to those in doom.

But using this in a game won't work. You don't play video files for a game menu. That's not happening at all. You need to code this! It was a good tutorial for resolve though.

Yeah, that was obviously not the intention of the video lol. It was for use in a video, not a game. There are a lot of really cool uses for something like this though, where you might want to simulate the look of a retro game for your video.
