So weird as iconic as 84 was i have no memory of any of the Secret Wars line at Retail. All the Figures i found at Yard Sales, and this video is the First Doom Tower I'd seen outside the old Sears Xmas Catalogue. Great Video!!

I had 2 tower of dooms...just sold my beater for $25..kept my complete unbroken one..great story..when I won it on ebay there were no figures included..when I received it a week later..the seller included in the original box 7 figures including Dr octopus with all working tentacles..still stoked till this day...really dig this playset...great video...

I dont think many people had or would know what this playset was. I think it has some good features but is painfully undersized. The figures look good but the shields were a total fail. I have Cap, Doom and Wolverine from when I was a kid. My Wolverine is mint.

I collect Doctor Doom action figures, I´m like 8 to 10 figures short of completion, mostly color variants of the 2005-2007 movies that dont interest me much an i´m looking as cheap as possible. I have that Secret Wars figure but dont have space for the playset

Yeah, that's not the Secret Wars Hobgoblin. That's from the Spider-Man animated series line from the 90s.
