My younger brother had this. I am sure at the time i knew what it was and which universe it belonged to. But the last 10 years i thought it was part of he-man.... finally finally discovered which toys it belongs to.

Man, I was just 11 years old, back in '84, when these were released. I had all of the heroes from series 1, Magneto, Kang and black suit Spider-Man (with a glider) but, I never owned The TOD as a kid. I just bought one on eBay this past Friday and I received it on Monday. I felt like a lil' kid all over again just looking at it! It brought back memories of seeing it on display on toy shelves and just really, really wanting it. Like you said, you're never too old! Cool review, brutha!

I was also 11 in '84- we bought this at a second hand store and I loved it. It was generic enough to be used with star wars, g.i. joe, super powers, whatever we had. It was awesome

The guns on the computer chair are to shoot at enemies trying to come in through the front door. Or maybe to execute prisoners when the entrance hall is used as a prison

Fresno State Hooper That's a helluva deal you got!! I'm jealous 'Cause I Wanted the Tower so badly, back in the day...and I still do! I just received the entire first series of Secret Wars figures (and Daredevil) last week, courtesy of ebay so, I'm more determined than ever to finally own this thing.

This was used as a super ultra secret COBRA base and my Zemo was their commander. The trap door prison feature was always the coolest feature I had in my toy collection. They'd wage war against Jabba and his board of goons. My friends would bring over their super powers and secret wars figures and those were some incredible days.

I never had this cool playset (missed a good opportunity on eBay to have it for 35 euros), but I like this toys. I completed what figures I didn’t have when I was a child (Daredevil, Constrictor, the black Spider-Man, Magneto and the falcon) Now, I only miss Electro. I hope that someday I can buy this awesome supervilain lair

Somewhat . The Secret Wars figures are more or less 4 inches ,but we use to totally use Star Wars figures with it back in the day .
