RetroArch - How to Setup: Dynamic Wallpapers

XMB menu can be configured to load a new wallpaper for each playlist. Wallpapers are not included in RetroArch's packages or downloadable Assets due to their large file sizes. Go to github.com/lib... and click code then "Download ZIP" to download Dynamic Wallpapers.
Please note that the ‘Ribbon’ must be disabled in order for the wallpaper to appear.
Then, you must go to the Directory settings and set your Dynamic Wallpapers Dir to point to a directory containing wallpaper images. The images have to be PNG, and named to match the screen title which appears in the top-left corner of the screen when you navigate the horizontal menu.

Nah, most people don't care about this type of customization, so like the video said, better not include to not increase the file size. But it's definetly nice to have the option to customize it. Keep up the great work, Retroarch team.

Hey, I have a request. Just like the original PSP/PS3 XMB, can you place an option to replace thumbnails to game backgrounds and their background music. I just want the nostlagia to kick in.

Its cool, but i dont understand why retroarch still doesn't have dynamic game wallpapers. It already allows you to download the game cover and screenshots automatically. Just allow one of them to be the wallpaper when navigating in games. If the image is too small, just apply a blur Effect calculated automatically (or just a fixed blur)

Exactly, box art could be scaled to width, or it could pull images from Launchbox database perhaps

It's just an animated background, similar to Playstation, etc. It needs to be disables for dynamic wallpapers to work.

last time I tried it, it worked until I start/exit a game and went to the next one on the same playlist...to be useful the wallpaper f e snes must be displayed everytime after exit and staying in the same playlist (How do I know where I am, choosing the next game?haha)...did it change?
