USS Atraiu "The Doomsday Destroyer" VS Walker Class Star Trek The Original Series Starship Battles

In this video we try out "The Doomsday Destroyer".
This was developed by Starfleet after their encounter with the Doomsday Machine.
It is very tough for a TOS Era starship and even has pulse phasers!
I thought a good first test would be to put it up against the Walker Class.

even phaser cannons are only phasers...the Doomsday Machine took a full warp core breach & explosion of the Constellation to destroy it. the planet killer had a hull made of stellar neutronium - meaning it's very capable of withstanding heat & radiation from phasers. I always wondered if the Doomsday Machine was created by the race that made the Dyson sphere as it would take technology capable of stellar construction to build either.

😲wow , blimey.. the Atraiu is one tough ship, I do like it.. love the weapons and sounds.. the Federation needs ships like this, and the Walker class. is tough too, so well matched I would say.. and yes with the right tactics.. hmm ... Loved the battle Captain.. yes , phasers and pulse cannons are a must, double the fire power... !😊🖖

😊 this is a a really neat, really cool silhouette for a Starfleet ship! I would love to see a TNG or later version of it! I still do not approve of the Walker class because... I'm sorry, it just looks way more modern than the Time frame it was supposed to be set in. It looks much newer, and like some ignorant story editor got to choose without knowing much about the evolution of Starfleet design language.

1. Walker never existed (waaay to big and waaaaay to much of a warship). Its failed Discovery wich is NOT star trek at all 2. It should, by all means, be waaaay weaker than a MODERN SHIP that is build AFTER the Constitution AND Miranda already saw service in the Fed-KdF war

I wouldn’t worry about how canon the pulse phasers are considering the other ship shouldn’t be canon given how bad disco is. The walker is way too powerful for the era it supposedly takes place in.
