I love that they added layers to Mashiba. He's a dude hardened by his life and upbringing and while he comes off arrogant, cold and even malicious at times, it's clear that in his heart he loves his sister and would do anything for her. She forgives his glum attitude and will even stand up to him when a situation demands it and he just folds to her 😊

You know what I miss? The kind of moody lighting shading details from these older shows. They just can't seem to do it with these new computer animated shows these days.

@@hieioni3354 Not many but some can, Pixar is a good example and Sony Pictures too...but they have good teams and years of experience. The thing is there isn't much studios in Japan who are at that level, although Polygon Pictures is getting better and Ghibli studios seems to be trying but still there is much to do before they are able to make the same quality in 3d like they did for 2d animation.

@@EyFmS Pixar is indeed good with 3D. But I haven't watched a cartoon movie in years because western cartoons suck for a long time. Maybe one day Japanese animation studios will get much better at CGI.

It's true. Dating, friendships, you name it. People are so enclosed these days and you can see it. What makes it worse is that everyone tries to emulate the most narcissistic people online to compensate, act like their lives are more eventful and livelier than they actually are. It's fake and that's all people are stuck being these days. Fake. I miss the days before social media. I remember what it was like too. Ever since 2008 when the iphone got big, I've seen the slow spiral into the trends we have now. I've seen how social situations have deteriorated over time and it's gotten so much worse to the point i dont know if it will ever go back to what it was. All we can be is an example of how it SHOULD be and take hold of that. Maybe someday we will get back on track
