Hi, bought these mirrors from bmw. The three point fixing prongs. didn’t come with threads in them. Did yours ? Looks as if I need to tap the three metal fixing points.

Nope. They thread as you send the screws through. Mine were the same and that worked fine for me. The metal is rather soft, accepts the bolt rather easily. Just make sure you aren’t going in crooked or off center 👍
