Dude my cat too. Between the cars and the mouse pointer moving around he goes nuts over it. Sometimes I'll just put it on the TV and he'll watch for an hour straight. Surprised he hasn't tried to jump up and catch a car yet.

to fix the yellow that ended the game, i think you should've swapped the places where highway 7 and highway 13 went to - it'd be a shorter distance to both the level 1 yellows in the bottom left, since it looked like a distance issue not a congestion issue... other than that, really good game, well played :)

I hit 3887 just after you hit your high score. I thought I was doing really well, but I didn't get as lucky with the motorways. I was Rank 16 at that point.

That's still a super solid score, not gonna lie. The game murders you after 2500 points now, so hanging on for almost 1500 points more is impressive!

When you connect the shop @ 1:42, can you save a road by doing a diagonal instead of a "half circle" connect?

So I discovered this morning that if you cross roads diagonally in the middle of a 2x2 set of squares (vs like normal where they intersect in the middle of a square) the cars will slow down for the intersection, but will ignore collision with other cars while going through. Also cannot place lights in an intersection like this. I'm curious to see if this can be abused at all.

That... that likely won't last long lol, I wouldn't be surprised if it's patched out in the next major update. It's been a while since the last patch, though for now it seems like a bit of a cheaty way to avoid intersecting colours.

I noticed something very strange. You lost a point between the screenshot and the leader board. 6178 vs 6177 Edit: I just double checked and the game over screen said 6177 so the screenshot gave you an extra point. Odd.

Why don't you replace long roads with motorways? Motorways are faster right?

Yes, though when you get to the part of the game where your structures gain 4 pips per tick, distance is the greatest killer, because every second that a car isn't at home is another second that it can't be called on to answer the call for more support. It's much better to have a closer, smaller population than a farther, larger population.
