I’m starting to believe the legendary weapons are specifically for endless. I hit 450 luck and couldn’t find a single a single legendary weapon. Granted I did find two nuke launchers, but with the extreme investment in luck you’d think I’d find more than just two nuke launchers,

That suggests they need a rework. No point having a legendary weapon that may as well not be in the game

They are indeed very rare but no endless exclusives for sure, I have found a couple legendary weapons on my normal runs with like 60 luck. Unfortunately it may be just that Rngesus isn't too fond of you

@@masxe4106 rngesus should be irrelevant at 450 luck. You are sacrificing so much combat oriented stats that it’s ludicrous. It says something that i wasn’t even aware these weapons existed until retro made videos on them, and I regularly invest in luck.

Funnily enough in a normal engineering run with farmer I hit 2 chain guns one on round 16 or 17 and the other on 19 and I was only sitting somewhere around 100 luck. Which those absolutely melted things. I honestly wonder if legendaries have additional conditions to them like needing certain stats. For example chain gun scales of ranged and engineering and I had fairly high stats in both. However in this run excalibur runs off melee and health which retro had health, but sat at a pitiful melee bonus and instead he got scythe which may trigger off healing which he had a fair amount of from the choppers plus some hp regen.

I had a really crazy lucky engineering build the other day that despite not even having one cyberball absolutely demolished most waves including 20 due to 2 silver bullets

kinda hope 1 day, blobfish puts in a momma elephant item that is like an epic or legendary item that either boosts baby elephant items you have in either damage or chance, or has its own similar effect as baby

Could be all random chance items proc more often. So then it works with more things then luck build stuff and give it some general use through more builds.

It seems to me that legendary weapons are for endless mode. They are not really needed for wave 20.

You should at least try engineering renegade bro those turrets just go nuts with its traits and you dont get to worry about the damage penalty

The addition of legendary weapons have made endless runs a lot more fun for me. Before whenever I'd try out Endless it would just be me buying the occasional passive item since my weapons are almost always maxed out by then. Now i can try to roll a legendary weapon or two so i can spike my power to keep up with the enemy scaling

Maybe a explorer run with pocket factory? Explorer can start with screwdriver so going engineering aint the worst idea, with enough turrets they'll start popping all the random trees on map and start a turret maze for you

I feel like a good way to fix the legendary weapons is to have it be based on an addition of percentage of level and luck (like 1 to 2 times the of current level) and (1/6 to 1/4 times the luck level) so by like level 25 and 100 luck, can get 25 from level and 25 from luck. Makes it better, plus gives a small chance early on to get them (1-5% chance in early shops)

Dunno exactly about 0 to 100 but I for one would greatly appreciate a run that demonstrates the "stay with 1 hp at end of wave", if only to unlock the stupid character.

I unlucked it by playing apprentice and not getting any health until he got only 1 HP.

You should try to do an explorer build that benefits highly from pocket factory

Honestly I think the game would be better if they had the option to play earlier builds ( of the game) so you could have an easier time comparing old to new.

You can't pick chopper as an starting weapon with Lucky anymore 🙃Also, played a run yesterday, couldnt find ANY cyberballs OR baby elephants, died in round 14 :(

am i understanding something wrong, if you lock a stat it cant get higher then the locked amount but it also cant get lower right? but retro ignored armor items with -speed which wouldve been op on his locked speed

i think lucky is better with shuriken because you will be tagged for critchance objects and lucky objects, and there's lucky coin that increases 2 luck per 1 crit
