If you want you can check out the explosion mute mode in the workshop. For me it makes the explosions a lot easier to look at without risking a seizure and I can let the effect turned on.

I always try the combos you post before I watch the video. It's damn near impossible without the Blood Donation because there are too many enemies and you are dumping into elemental instead of defense.
