This is a compile of two National TV commercials promoted by ABBA back in 1976 when they toured Australia.

Whether or not your an ABBA fan this IS such a well written and very well produced commercial. It was obviously carefully considered and crafted with brilliant lyrics suiting the song, music and products perfectly. It was stylish, in fashion and tastefully done. A truly superb, entertaining and engaging commercial AND with such a clever slogan, Just slightly ahead of our time, is a confident, market leading yet understated slogan. THIS IS EXCELLENT in every way even today in 2019. I have not seen a better commercial ever, not yet anyway!

ABBA were the flavour of the month here back then, and their records were flying off the shelves. I think they did the ads as a favour to the brand.

@@charbokh $1million dollars they got for this AD and 4 others, they wanted the money to get the 1977 Tour going as they were NOT that rich then *quoted from Benny). *also Benny said it was "a big mistake to sell out that song to National and they regret doing these commercials, they would never do it again" ... TRUE !!!

@@theliberatingmachines5051, National is actually Panasonic, who I doubt sell much these days outside of Japan. So I'd suggest ABBA's brand is far more powerful, even now.

@@scottlang7271 I'm a big fan of Abba, but with worldwide sales of $68.4bn in 2020 (52% of which was outside of Japan), Panasonic Corporation is by far the more powerful brand. It does seem slightly unfair to compare a multi-national electronics company to four pop stars, though!
