My 2nd car. Bought it in "85" 1 original owner before me it had no more than 25,000 miles on it. It was white and I remembered that at first I thought it was pretty ugly for a body stile but that dam thing grew on me and ended up being one of my favorites. Didn't hurt that it was show room perfect 12 years later. But this year chevelle was still a solid build just choked with emission crap. But still a great car.

73 had the best looking tail lights. Nice car and somewhat rare now-a-days since they rusted easily. The old LT1 was a good engine. I have used the camshaft in several low budget street engines along with Z28 valve springs, good heads and a 780 quadrajet on a Z28 high rise manifold. Brings a stock SBC to life. I also used this combo (406 cubes) in a pure stock (9C1 Caprice!) dirt car, since it had to be stock parts, and won 73 races over an 8 year period. They laughed at my grocery getter when I pulled in but not so much after I took the checker. Not all the credit was the engine it also was the set up with the suspension.

Thanks again Retro, my dad had a '73 Malibu brown sedan, 350. Great car! Unfortunately it was stolen in the winter of '76. My dad swore the car was transported to South America, Lol.
