I beat Force Unleashed 2 in one sitting at a friend's house. It was falsely advertised because it was rushed out before they could complete the game. We were supposed to go to more planets. Instead the whole game is basically set on a single planet.

I got a logitech gcloud "acceptable condition" from amazon and it looked perfectly new with box and all but paid 50% of the price, got a few other used items that pretty much all looked new. Never tried with games but for technologies its usually pretty good in my experiance.

I actually only had a problem once when ordering a used game from amazon. The DS cartridge was damaged, I sent it back and got the whole price back. All other orders were pretty much perfectly fine.

I'm playing a huge throwback which is WarCraft 3 and Frozen Throne PRE-Reforged so I don't have to deal with their updated nonsense. What's wild is how well it's working on modern hardware all it takes is setting the properties to WIN XP service pack 3 compatibility mode to fix the cutscenes then edit the registry to make the resolution 3440x1440 and somehow it just works.

I used to play skate 3 on the ps3 I think I bought it with ac brotherhood and revelations on GameStop cause of the buy 2 get 1 free deal oh man I used to go every once in a while to GameStop just to get games whenever that deal was on… I played hours and hours of skate 3 just skateboarding everywhere didn’t even pay attention to the missions till I grew bored of it and I remember finding out there was a skate 2 and skate 1 I remember I got skate 2 didn’t play much such good memories

Seems we are in the same boat. I've been collecting for the Xbox 360 which is borderline Retro and it is extremely hit or miss when ordering off Amazon. Most of the time the games will be marked off as "Very Good or Good" and next thing I receive it and it's either 1) Filthy, 2) Cover art is damaged in some way shape or form or 3) Disc is extremely scratched or has a crack in the middle of the ring. Thankfully I've returned them thanks to Amazon Prime's free retuen policy. Ebay is honestly the way to go because I at least get to see what I'm receiving and eBay will reside with the buyer 95% of the time if its an issue on the seller side.

I never liked buying games from Amazon, the juice was never worth the squeeze. Out of the small handful, anything used I bought was disappointing condition wise, I feel sellers lie a lot more on amazon and don't have the same pride of good ebay sellers. I only buy brand new games off Amazon now, and only if the deal or price makes sense. Last ones I purchased were tales of legendia sealed in 2021, and yakuza 2 sealed in 2023

Well gamestop online gets hate, you can see from all his unboxings. It never says the condition or whether it has the case and manual. You can get a loose cartridge, a cig burn case that was flushed down a toilet or a mint CIB. Obv shopping in person is nicer!!

Yes halo did come in a non game of the year edition... I worked for gamestop when the original Xbox came out. Game of the year edition came after it won game of the year. If you bought it with the Xbox when it came out, then you definitely would have the o.g. version.

I can tell you one thing that happened in Borderlands 3, psychic enemies. I was once outside of combat, very far away, using a sniper rifle form behind an enemy, and it actively dodge rolled out of the path of the bullet. I never say such a thing happen in 1, 2, or the pre-sequel Also, extremely stupid story telling. They kill off Maya, when Lilith contradicts the need to die under the exact same circumstances, and they gave Maya's powers to that idiot whiny brat that seriously needs a punch in the face by Brick.
