Love the Gamecube section. I don't care what people say, the Gamecube is one of my favorite Nintendo systems of all time. So many great games and FANTASIC graphics for its time. I'm glad you guys have been expanding the Gamecube section. Keep it up! You guys also definitely picked up some bangers in that trade. For me, those 3 TMNT games alone would've made it all worthwhile for the love/personal value.

I can confirm, trying to sell new (PC) games is basically impossible. You receive maybe a $3-$4 off retail price from your wholesaler, and people only want the game it seems the opening weekend it comes out. So then a couple weeks later, you end up having to sell the $59.95 game (that cost you $56.27 say) for $39.95 just to not completely lose $56. Then many times even then everyone who wants the game has already bought it, so it just sits on your shelf for a year and finally you sell it for $10. Not only that, but you have to buy like $1500 of products to get free shipping, so as Rick said, many times if you average out shipping on 6-8 games you might break even *if* you sell them all for full retail. Plus usually, games will be on back order and the big stores get them opening weekend and you won't even get them at all.

As a book collector I would say your store is fine. Often the books come from Mom and Pop stores from around the world. If they can keep the doors open in this time it's a good sign. At the higher end and rarer niche the books market is super healthy right now. I've pick up a few in the dip (last 2 years) but now there is no dip or rarer for bargains. So I can say it has been a good investment too but I don't plan on selling them
