I said I had a limit on how much money I would spend on some dang headlights. These are way more than my limit. Yet, I’m contemplating ordering a set. Especially if they have taillights that operate similarly

I'm just trying to find a company that can send the board and controller... WITHOUT shipping my headlights, can we work something out to get strobe/sequential switchback boards & accessories shipped?

These are specifically made for us, and with the amount of work that goes into them......they are not something I would want to walk a customer through. So, at this time - these will remain on an installed basis. TY

@@RetroShopLights I have had a good understanding of working with electronics for years, starting with my first raspberry pi kit with all the leds, 7 seg displays, and rigging breadboards together lol - but I understand! I'm big on if you want it done right, do it yourself as well. Do you think they will sometime in the future be made available, maybe just for private order? Also, I'm using y'alls quad/projector adapters on my 09 with 2017 Rebel headlights, but want to enable a DRL function. I've tapped fuses on my 97 to get DRL halos... but with this adapter + being an 09, is there an option within 2009-2012 models' computers for DRLs? No worries if unsure, just thought I'd ask! Thank you!

@@slacinace I get it! but at this time, there are no plans to sell them as a DIY On the adapters, these were updated about a year ago to allow for DRLs - on our 3.1 version. Prior, unfortunately no way to activate them.

@@RetroShopLights With your v3.1 harnesses, will the DRL shut off when turn signal is applied? Sorry for asking so many questions via youtube lol

@@slacinace Yes, it will. Its.....interesting to see it though - as the DRL is the same location and brightness of the turn. But...yeah, it does shut off power to the DRL circuit, and applies it to the turns.

What's the point of using the builder to get this? Do I have to mail you my lights and you install them? Can I just buy the parts and install myself?

We sell the switchback boards on our website. The sequential / strobe / show mode boards are only sold in builds.
