Retrospective Review - Black (Xbox/PS2)

Today, a good friend and myself take a look back at Black. An action packed FPS on the Xbox/PS2 released back in 2006. Does it still hold its own in today's shooter market? Or has its appeal faded over time?

In the original take, we were simply talking and it flowed nicely. Problem was, while editing it all together, I found that MY narration was rat shit and I had re do most of it, lol. Which is why some of the review did sound a little scripted/robotic. Eitherway, I'm happy with how it turned out! Thanks for the feedback :D

The voice acting in this video is way worse than the voice acting in black. Seriously, I've heard infomercials with more natural dialog between two people.

This is my favourate shooter of all time. It's compatible with xbox 360. Great graphics and great game play and the sounds are awsome. A good selection of weapons early into the game and a good story line. When ever im in the mood for some 'Blasting action' this is the game i play.I have kept my disk and case in mint condition and I'll never get rid of it. Best played through a home cinema surround system on LOUD. I once had my neighbours round because they thought i had a REAL gun..!! This is a RARE game so you may have problems getting it now.

yeh!! :D I had this on my ps2 and now i have a xbox 360 i just buy old xbox games compatible for my 360. i just bought some games for it like Simpsons hit and run, Sonic heroes and crash bandicoot - wrath of cortex for example. I am definitely considering this game and buying it for my 360 ;D

i dont know about u guys but i done it all , medal of honor/call of duty mwf/black ops/ bf3,4/farcry2,3/max payne3/.......etc BLACK still competes with todays 1st person shooters, its unique, aggressive, the gameplay pulls you in. extremely original , i recommend it to any one who loves 1rst person shooters, its the best.

This game feels like the early 90s fps (like Wolfenstein for example) with just modernized graphic & ragdoll physic with death animation after all.. No jump. No open/close door feature, no sprint, no vaulting, no leaning. Nothing more, nothing else. Just a straight walk, aiming up and down & just shoot em up. FEAR came out a year before this and have much better & advanced feature, let alone the graphic. Though, this game is still decent and worth a try for anyone who are into the nostalgic feel of old FPS gameplay flashback.

Give him a break guys & be patient :) I know for a fact that he usually puts 5-7 hours into the recording & editing process for most of his videos & that's quite a lot of work for only one video. Santiago Valenzuela Battlefield 4's Levolution isn't being able to blow up anything, it really is being able to destroy a specific part of the battlefield that will drastically alter the game. Such as the Skyscraper collapse in Siege of Shanghai or the mission that floods the entire map. Although, I get what you mean, Battlefield 4 needs more general environmental destruction.
