It was 100% the alchemist his wife gave them the letter so they could contact him. The crew just, Forgor. Like the alchemist is literally the only person who could have contacted them via the letter. Last time carol contacted them, she needed to physically plant stuff on chip

When it comes to an ambush everyone knows the front is the most dangerous. But what people don't always know is that the rear is the second most dangerous. Because ambushes usually want to envelop and cut off the escape. "Motti tactics" are a great example of striking, cutting off, surrounding, and distroying a target. Ambushers get to decide when they can strike, as long as they're not discovered, but defenders can decide how to distribute manpower off of what they're seeing. But in DnD party that's not important, since typically no leadership exists.

Heads up for Blaine. Said this in the discord but will say it here. With the Assassin subclass, Rouges get advantage on attacks against creatures that haven't gone in the initiative order yet. If you go before another creature, you won't need to worry about an ally being within five feet of them to get your sneak attack damage to go off. You could get yourself a crossbow and be a ranged attacker for those creatures who are out of reach of meele.

@@themoonbean7092 That's what it feels like because they're just playing around and mainly doing nothing but story, I know that's their style and the way they run things, but it's very interesting and very annoying. Annoying. More so for the audience perspective that they have to focus on the DM thing instead of interrupting him so they can actually save lives. It's happened at least three different times now where they could have saved life and not been able to because the DM has to speak up first and not get interrupted
