Hi Pete (67yrs ) here, flying since before msfs 3.1, getting back into msfs after new dedicated comp. This is a cracking good aircraft, not managed correct landing yet ( 2 tries ) Pilot Error. Great aircraft- I've learnt so much from these excellent videos. I'm realising how much I've been missing from my blundering attempts to fly the a310 in MSFS. Can't wait until the Inibuilds a320neo is launched later in 2023. Thanks for the a310 and these videos.

How do you set the altitude bug above 1000 feet if your minimum decision altitude was 4000 feet

Love the explanations. But why did you have to make this whole series in black stripes. If you are using 21:9, at least make it so that one can watch it without black bars on a 21:9 monitor. It looks disgusting on mine. Black bars all around? However, the vid is very helpful and your work much appreciated.

What is the proper way to input a 4 digit landing elevation such as KLAS? (2181ft)

If you're talking about setting the DH, it's Decision Height = vertical distance to the ground, it's obviously never 4 digits. Don't mix it with DA (decision altitude) or MDA (minimum descent altitude) that are both altitudes = vertical distance to sea level. If your map only quotes DA and you want to enter DH, well DH = DA minus runway altitude.

@@zacharyanzalone3671 Oh sorry, I misunderstood. Well you just rotate the wheel, the thousands digit will pop up as soon as you go over 950 ft. Just make sure the left part of the counter is white, not red ; if it is, then you are entering a negative altitude (it's rare but it can be needed, check LLMZ in Israel). In which case, just rotate the other way around. :)

Are you referring to the default MSFS VFR map/

@@Dalwhat no it’s not an add on. Its a newly made thing built into the sim. You should be able to click on that icon that has the airport name above it and it should give you a list of frequencies

I've heard that they had no plans to make an interior for Xbox; however, if they find a way to make an interior for Xbox without it affecting performance, they will do it.

yes, but it glitches out when you load back in and you won’t be able to click anything
