I’m an older Kayak fisherman who loves your videos. What’s cool about it is that you take the time to explain the conditions and your lure choices. Adding jigs and trailers; using your presentation and retrieval techniques have translated very well to the small Kansas fishing lakes I frequent. You are an inspiration, and I appreciate your dedication to the sport. Thank you and here’s wishing you the very best for 2024!

Well, Jim, you're not the only "Older" 'Yak fisherman that Loves Greg's videos! Lol... I've been watching Greg for 6 plus years, and he's been teaching me a lot about baits, 'Yak gear, and how to find the "Right Combination" to catch the "BIG Ones"...! (He's also the reason I bought a Titan, too!). I loved the review of the Titan X he did, so that's my next 'Yak. The Titan X in a 12.5 length, with a Newport 300 motor/batt. setup, and maybe a live scope for my Garmin (gets a little "pricey" when ya add everything up, doesn't it?). Haha! Good luck fishing in your 'Yak, stay safe, and have a great time. (Written by a 78 year old!). Lol...

Hey Greg, when you stay in hotels and places where you leave your kayak out in the back of your truck, how do you protect it from getting stolen. Could you do a video on your overnight stay preparations, theft protection, what you bring in the hotel, battery charging, next day prep..etc. I love the all the fishing videos but this is something I have never seen really discussed to protect your investments and prepare for success on the next outing. Thak you and tight lines.

For me, I have tie down points in the bed of my truck. I use a bicycle cable lock. Run it through a scupper hole and through a tie down. Dozens of camping spots/hotels over the years and never had an issue.

Slow mornings can get very discouraging, props to you for sticking it out. I've always had good luck throwing a smaller lipless on points, weed edges, ect. Until I start getting strikes. More or less finding aggressive hungry fish then scaling down to worms or other more finess baits. Maybe something to try when you're grinding it out and the bites slow. Thanks for the content and keep up the great work!

I really enjoy (respect) you showing the good, bad and the ugly of your trips. I feel you have a really good mix of narrative and quiet. Your narrative doesn’t feel like the stream of consciousness dribble I see on other channels. Some old guy advice on breaking knots; wet your knot before tightening down and then tighten the knots low enough to prevent heat from scorching your line. Tight lines and I look forward to your next video.

What a great day to be out I know we have storms coming so it’s the calm before the storm. After another round of rain the all waterways should be full our local lake is up to 80% & it’s been many many years since it’s been as full as it currently is it looks like a whole different lake & the water line is close to what it once was. Nice to see you finding fish this winter seems like other years it would shut down but not the case this year.

Last time I was on Shasta , it was basically a Ned rig bite the whole trip. I never really threw it before, but my buddy swore by it and it worked. Sprinkle in a few drop shot fish as well.But man, love that place either way. 🤛🏼💯🎣
@barrycates73607 ай бұрын
Great video. I've had a lot of success hopping a ned rig off the bottom when in that situation. Unlike the 5" worm, it gets the bite closer to the hook.
@raffy3137 ай бұрын
Not sure how deep you were using it, but shakey heads have always gotten me some of my biggest bass offshore around deeper structure. Like you, when I first started using that technique it never became a go to or confidence bait till I forced myself to learn it and the best times to use it. It's become one of my favorites. Bigger bass seem to live it!
@allaroundfishing10137 ай бұрын
Nice job buddy way to put that technique to work I told you I was watching for it. You're catching fish that are eating crawls with that worm, you will catch fish that are eating shad when you add a swim bait to the shaky head. Have you ever threw the spro little John MD crank? That's one of the best cranks that just flat catch fish for me in Tennessee

Greg, I'm building out my titan x and am trying to copy (for the most part) your layout. Can you do a much slower paced video showing how you mounted your mega 360, routed your motor lift cables, and installed your net holding devices, paddle holder (among other items). I'm sure you've got a LOT of people trying to do the same thing I am. Why did you choose to put these items where they ended up (i see you've moved them since it started). what problems did you run into that you had to resolve; for instance, I purchased the mega 360 pole holder you have, and it appear there isn't enough track to put it with the graphs but that is where you have it so did you replace that track? There currently isn't any good titan X build out videos and i like your setup. thanks!!!
