Thanks bud. Yes I contemplated bomb and bread but practice the week before I had 30+lb, most of it shallow on caster and the micro pellet and expander line also produced. The unsettled weather just switched it off. You should have seen them topping after the weigh in 😡

Always a fine line on elastic choice,too strong and bump off skimmers and too light towed around by carp 🤔

Yep you can't win. It's predominantly an F1 venue that throws up big weights 200+lb of those chunky F1s and some big margin creatures so you've got to gear up for them. It didn't fish at all, as you could see the weights were poor all round.
