Return to Riffe lake Washington in search of spring trout | April 2024

I returned to Riffe lake Washington in hopes of finding some trout. Riffe lake is always a fun western Washington lake to fish.

Some beautiful scenery around that lake for sure!.. Sometimes on those big lakes its hard to find those schools, that lake has to hold some monsters though! 👊👍

Gorgeous lake. Too bad the fish weren't the most active. Looked like a nice day to be out there though. 👍

Yeah, perfect lake to take your new boat. Normally, you can catch double-digit numbers of fish. Releasing them as long as you don't no bait or scent.

Next time you are out there, try fishing closer to the shorelines. Schools of fish run the rock edges looking for food.

This trip, we didn't get to close to shore. We did see a boat running the shoreline, not sure how they did. Talked to 3 other boats at the ramp, and they blanked. Next time we will give it a go! Thanks for the tip!

It was cold, 48 when we were fishing at 830 in the morning.
