Great video. Nice seeing Casey and Chris at the Island and looks like the weather played nicely for them. Seeing an elated Marco Simoncelli at 8:18 chocked me up a bit knowing he would be dead just a week later - RIP Marco

In my opinion, CS27, was the most talented racer ever in modern era. Too bad the circus was not for him to stomach. And then his ability to explain things from technical standpoint is just something I have never heard anyone do. Just a brilliant guy. Thanks Casey for the thrill and entertainment over the years. I hope you are well and having fun living your quiet family life.

In 2018 I rode my Kawasaki ZX10R from Alice Springs NT down to Adelaide (1500km on a sportsbike) and met up with my best mate (who owns the same bike). Two days later we rode from Adelaide to the Island in one long day (750km). We then spent 4 days there watching the GP. Then did the return ride back. Best time of my life. Two good mates on the same machinary living a life long dream.

This was a great video. I was there to see Stoner as the new world champion on his first year with Ducati and I was there for his first season with Honda where he won the championship on his birthday. We jumped over the tyre barrier at Siberia and I fell knee first into the gravel. Even though I was in tremendous pain, I ran all the way to the main straight for the podium holding two open beers and a deck chair and I didn't spill a drop. I was the real champion that day!

We only know the riders from what we’re told basically from the media, I went along with the ‘Casey Moaner’ that changed when Ben Spies said ‘ I know I can’t do what Casey does , in and out of the corners” also his fight with the debilitating illness in such a pressure cooker and dangerous career. I now have the utmost respect for him and am so pleased he’s got a handle on his condition.
