RETURNAL | R_A.0750 Nemesis, Derelict Citadel [Coilspine Shredder] (HDR) NO DAMAGE

Energy Barricade is an overlooked, underused, and all-around excellent item. Not only does it block incoming projectiles and beams, it also breaks enemy ring attacks, be they red or purple. Additionally, as this clip demonstrates, Energy Barricade also amplifies the damage of friendly projectiles passing through it. When you next confront an end-of-biome boss in RETURNAL, I encourage you to bring an Energy Barricade (or two) into the fight with you.
(The Energy Barricade, like many other items and artifacts, is unavailable in the Tower of Sisyphus.)

Coilspine is the most underrated weapon. Once you get those traits leveled up it literally shreds enemies. Mycomorph in one or two hits, same for Titanops & Kerberonyx. Even in Abyss it'll two shot most mini-bosses except the Malformed will take 3 or 4. Love this gun once you get the reload timing down is amazing. Edit: your you're not even taking full advantage by charging your shots which does much more damage. Harder to keep your aim, but does more than double damage.

The Coilspine Shredder is an oddity. It is misunderstood and underused while simultaneously overrepresented in the Tower of Sisyphus, what with the state of RETURNAL after the latest (and, in all likelihood, last) few patches. Thank you for your comments; welcome to the Archive!

@@returnalarchive The Tower is where I learned to use it. Melts stagger bar too, which is great in Tower. Dreadbound too is misunderstood, but really good if you learn how to utilize it.

After a negative first impression, I avoided using the Coilspine Shredder for the longest time. Now, it numbers among my favourite weapons in RETURNAL.
