It was evident that milim is veldoras niece. In her backstory it said that her father was a TRUE dragon. Theres only 4 true dragons including veldora and theyre all siblings which was made more evident when one of the 4 true dragons that works with guy said she was veldoras sister. Milim is the daughter of veldoras eldest sibling. There's only 4 true dragons and they're all siblings. Milims dad/ veldoras older brother was the first true dragon and the strongest out of the four of them which is why milim is able to match the other 3 true dragons even though she isn't a full true dragon herself because she inherited a portion of her father's strength. Her father was so ridiculously powerful that his power was completely off the charts compared to the other 3 true dragons. They explained milims back story in the beginning of the season.

There's a scene that isn't shown here where Clayman starts walking towards Frey right before Shion cuts his arms and tail off that's shot similar the Jojo meme where Jotaro is walking towards Dio. Which is fun because Clayman's voice actor does Dio's voice as well.

Fun facts: In the original story, the necklace would have actually controlled Millim, but Frey switched it out for a different necklace. As well, the reason Veldora showed up wasn't because the last volume of 3x3 Eyes wasn't around to read, but Rimuru had purposely put a different manga inside the final issue so Veldora would teleport to him later wanting the real thing. They're minor changes, and it's interesting to see a different version of the story in the anime.

In the ln, shion goes to finish the job right after cutting off his arms, which leads the the scene at the end. It seems like they just rearranged it so that they could have that be the cliffhanger, but they sure left him there a long time

Fun fact: when rimbaru said he would die to milims attack last episode he didn’t mean instantly, since he can completely regenerate instantly once or twice he would survive, butnit would toake so much energy that he wouldn’t be able to dodge anymore attacks so milim could just stop befor he actually died
