A true symbol of the pure heroism, these are men who come from towns, big and small, from farms to villages. Who go into the valley of death and put their own lives on the line for their brothers in arms. These are ordinary men, who come from simple and diverse backgrounds yet they all share something in common when that blue ribbon is tied around their necks. They all put forth their strength and courage, not out to destroy the enemy, but to protect their comrades in the thick of the fight. Such selflessness is rare on this earth and when these men are presented this award, they are recognized to amongst the most honorable and courageous. These soldiers are to be forever honored and remembered for they did the unthinkable in the worst of conditions, when we even would find it so hard to believe that such courage, such strength, and such selflessness could exist on this world. That is what the Medal of Honor stands for, for when the ordinary achieve the impossible against overwhelming odds. God bless these men and may their sacrifices forever inspire us to strive for their values and principles in our daily lives.

I am a retired US Army Soldier. I was fortunate in flying in helicopters and riding tanks. I loved watching the Netflix Medal Of Honor Series as they gave me goosebumps. I can listen to this every day. I hear sorrow, solemnity, and the courage to keep fighting on no matter the odds. One way or another they return home to where they came from.

This hits me so hard, as a US Marine I strive to be even a fraction of what these heroes are. To do my utmost even in the worst of conditions and always come out on top with my brothers by my side alive and well. I uphold not only my honor and name, but the honor, courage, and heroism that these men have shown and given to their country.

such a perfect track. The show always plays this song as they show the medal of honor being presented. Inevitably the recipient is either dead or the most humble man you would ever meet. So the movement from sweeping strings to gentle tones show just how extraordinary this person's actions were compared to just how ordinary the human was to everyone who knew him.

Listening to this video every time makes me bawl my eyes out. I have the upmost respect to all the servicemen and servicewomen and those who are veterans. I’m in a tough spot right in my life right now where I’m struggling a lot with social anxiety, blushing, procrastination, complacency, laziness, and self-esteem issues. This music gives me a sense of hope that I’m much more capable of living a better life than the one I’m living right now. I hope I can finally make that change. Update: Much better place than I’ve ever been in my life. I completely defeated my inner demons and surpassed my expectations. No longer afraid of myself, I beat my social anxiety, procrastination and have a better outlook on life. Wish you all the best people. Stay strong.

Seeing Romashea (or however you spell his name) literally start tearing up when he was saying that he doesn't feel right and none of his buddies can come back really hit me something fierce. Being overseas isn't easy, and to see men like this put their life in front of others is something truly remarkable.

This is not the way you make him proud man..the way you make him proud is to pray for him and to be succesful for yourself.

@@iandalauidao9807 ... What are you talking about? Why would watching a KZbin video make anyone proud? I do disagree with you though, the mere fact that I care about him being proud of me is pretty important. I served 6 years in the Army, I'm a firefighter, married and raising two kids. I think he's smiling down on me, but it is something I think about.

From the bottom of my heart and with utmost respect; Thank you to everyone who served! The freedom that I enjoy everyday and the things that I take for granted are all because of our military. Where did we find such men?
@yonasembaye17175 жыл бұрын
We find them Where we have always found them, in our villages and towns, on our city streets, in our shops, and our farms. [Dwight H. Johnson] ...summoned a degree of courage that stirs wonder and respect, and an overpowering pride in all of us. [George W. Bush] It recognizes gallantry that goes above and beyond the call of duty. [Barack Obama] We may not always hear their success, but they are there in the thick of the fight, in the dark of night, achieving their mission.
@yonasembaye17175 жыл бұрын
Romeo Giuratrab the intro is for the Netflix series "Medal Of Honour." This has various speeches from different presidents, one of which if from George W. Bush. That line is from a citation, which is read out when someone receives their award. That was not from a call of duty game.

@@YouDontKnowMebro69 ; it's a series from netflix, the world's streaming giant.
