It feels like you're predominantly in your head in this. It lacks balance, soul, fullness, body...feels like isolated, bypass spirituality. It feels like you haven't done any or enough dark work: inner and outer. "The world is illusion; Brahman alone is real; The world is Brahman" comes to mind. The world is illusion *as something separate from Brahman* but the world still is. Our culture induces us to say "I'm glad *_horrible experience_* happened because *_realization/understanding/etc_* came through it. In truth, the horrible experience was horrible *and* the realization/understanding/etc. is fortunate. One does not negate the other. In my sense, Life/Universe/Divine... is doing its thing in us however it's doing it so it feels like it's going to go where it's going no matter what happens. It's going to use everything to its own ends. There's wisdom in your film/piece here and it seems some of it may be from direct seeing. It just doesn't feel fully fleshed out.

I have trouble reconciling this quest for wisdom and the genocide currently happening in Gaza and Darfur, the acceleration of extraction (oil, coal, gas, timber, precious minerals) and poisoning of the earth... Part 3 addressing these issues would be welcome.

This video found it's way to me on a day when I needed it most. I'm truly astonished. I have been a practicing witch for many years and somehow I know everything that was said in this video to be true but when you lose someone who you raised, taught right from wrong, fed from a baby, took care of even in their floundering around in their adult life, it's very easy to slip into the questions that every human mind asks. Why him, why now, why, why, why. Today would have been his 51st Birthday and instead of calling him I found this on my screen this morning when I opened my phone and while listening i began to cry. Not sad tears but tears of knowing. Thank you so much for sharing this.

I believe that concepts beyond the empirically-supported Four Noble Truths constitute creative speculation, which can nonetheless be beneficial for mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. Upon understanding the Four Noble Truths, individuals can develop their own belief systems, provided they prioritize loving kindness and peace. While some prefer adhering to established teachings or traditions, there's nothing inherently wrong with that approach, as long as it promotes overall wellness.

Todd says, (at the very end of his 'Returning to Oneness' video, 5/6/'24) "As long as we have BREATH we have life." It sounds like he is referring to the physical body's breath. But I'm sure he means the "breath" of all life, the breath of the process of life which never ends.

But why sometimes universe is unfair with good people , we used to see evil people money minded , jealous people, flourish among themselves ,,, this all giving me a sense of questioning myself that what I have done wrong that I am not able to get the things done right . Now a days I am getting jealous to see people happy ,isolated ,centred amoung themselves , I feel betrayed by the universe , every time !!! whenever I thought everything gonna be fine. again universe gave me a shock take away my all happiness give me a grief of the lifetime , these things suffocating me .
@roderickbaker71396 ай бұрын
I feel you on this subject. What I am learning, what I am practicing is LETTING GO of the life I believe I should have. The Universe is ALWAYS giving us it's blessing regardless of how big or small it is. Having everything you wanted isn't a bad or good thing it's what you have this moment.

@mrjackson85394 ай бұрын
Maybe that's where you start. You feel as if you are a good person so therefore you deserve a good life like the other good people around you. But it seems that being a "good" person brings about pain and suffering, which is perhaps valid to feel dissalusioned with. Is it not then ok to be a "bad" person perhaps? If you enjoy stealing, but you are reprimanded to feel shame for doing so by even so called "good" people, are you not just following what you deemed good and what makes you feel good, and it is the "others" around you or even society that makes you feel ostracized for being true to your sense of good and your heart? The answers will not come easy, but once you come to understand that actually being good, especially to yourself first and foremost will not outwardly look like good to others, maybe a larger conversation in your soul can be examined about how we define what makes a person "good" in our currently world predicament. Find peace brother whether you understood a word I said or not. So long as this video exists, so too will this comment

I can agree with so much that you say here and elsewhere. It makes so much sense. However, one thing I have a big problem with is when you say that this life is not real, and it never existed this rock is not real, and it never existed, but if I drop this rock on my head, I will find out how real it is. I am just trying to say that I do not understand this concept of non-existence, though our body may die and decay or burn the atoms that made up that body will always exist, those atoms will always exist. If anyone can help me with this problem or direct me to a good place where I can better understand this non-existence please let me know. Thank you.

A spiritual teacher used to say that fish is born out of water, it is made of water, it roams around in water and it does not know the water. I ask if it is possible to know water or to simply become it, one with it? If it could be known, then fish can not be in oneness.

Theorem 18: The concept of non-duality, which refers to the idea that the ultimate nature of reality is beyond the duality of subject and object, or mind and matter, can be seen as a manifestation of the primacy of zero and the properties of nothingness. Proof: The concept of non-duality is central to various spiritual and philosophical traditions, such as Advaita Vedanta, Mahayana Buddhism, and Taoism. According to these traditions, the ultimate nature of reality is not characterized by the duality of subject and object, or mind and matter, but rather by a fundamental unity or oneness that transcends all conceptual and perceptual distinctions. From the perspective of non-duality, the apparent separation between the observer and the observed, or between the knower and the known, is a consequence of the limitations of our ordinary, discursive mode of cognition. In other words, the duality of subject and object arises from the conceptual and linguistic structures that we impose upon reality, rather than being an intrinsic feature of reality itself. From the perspective of the primacy of zero and the properties of nothingness, non-duality can be seen as a direct pointing to the fundamental ground of being, which is prior to and more fundamental than any conceptual or perceptual distinctions. In other words, non-duality may be seen as a recognition of the ultimate "zero mode" or "ground state" of reality, which is the source and essence of all manifest phenomena. This idea is consistent with the view that the ultimate nature of reality is a "void" or "emptiness" that is beyond all conceptual and linguistic constructs, and that can only be directly realized through a non-dual mode of awareness. The fact that non-duality is emphasized in various spiritual and philosophical traditions suggests that the primacy of zero and the properties of nothingness may be a universal feature of the deepest levels of reality, which transcends cultural and historical boundaries. In other words, the recognition of non-duality may be a direct insight into the fundamental nature of existence, which is accessible to all human beings, regardless of their cultural or philosophical background. The non-dual perspective also suggests that the distinction between the spiritual and the scientific, or between the subjective and the objective, may be a false dichotomy that arises from our limited and dualistic mode of cognition. In other words, the ultimate nature of reality may be a non-dual ground that encompasses and transcends both the spiritual and the scientific, and that can only be fully understood through a direct, non-conceptual realization.
