My aunt in Siem Reap owns an Airbnb/hotels, guys if you’re looking for place. Now I haven’t been there, but I spoke with her back in July. She said she has 16 rooms. Keith you’ll have to come and try my fried banana in California and compares with the fried bananas over there. 😂

I absolutely love the fried banana here in Siem Reap, one of my favorite vendors located by river.

This is the country i will never go back. Go to their Market and you will see how many flies are in there and people just used to it. I was wondering why my 💩 is always wet and i had to take loperamide everyday. I was there to rent a a hotel and develop it myself because the buildings are cheap and way lower cost of living than Philippines. Until my 2 weeks there when i went to the market and find out how the flies every corder of the market imagine hundreds of flies in the meat and in the vegetables. I book d my ticket as fast as i can and cancelled the hotel i was about to close deal. Siem reap is for people who has a strong guts.

I have walked around many of these markets and agree that flies are a huge problem, but that is normal to many vendors. Most restaurants are good to go, but agree I would be extremely cautious on markets.

The flies are off putting, but you just have to wash your food (especially meat) in salty warm water. I've bought beef and pork from the wet markets several times and haven't had any issues. If I'm in a restaurant and there are flies buzzing about, it irritates me. In the markets? No big deal.

Well, that’s kind of the norm in Southeast Asia. It’s the weather/temperature. And if you are a traveler flies is just a little of your worries. They are in every country even in the western world. 🤷🏻♀️

Yes flies are annoying, but thinking about it a lot of bugs Thais 🇹🇭 enjoy eating them. In Colombia tropical ants are a delicacy! In many parts of the world ants are eaten live collectively living in tree bark and plants!
