Returning To The Old Shop: Visiting The Projects We Left Behind

Back where it all began. These shops are where it all started, from one falling down two-car garage, to eventually being able to get a second shop. We started this channel five years ago, Five Years of constant work, trial and error, doing whatever we could to get the cars of our dreams back on the road. Now we need to make room for our newest engine to rest up while we make a plan to bring it back to Alberta.

As someone that has moved cars and parts across America I say get a large van, a car trailer and an enclosed cargo trailer. It worked for me plus you can sell these later if necessary. I do agree with Dan about bring the blue Nomad , the 57 and parts and more tools west. Sell the ford pickup . Thanks for listening

You were so lucky to find tenants that were willing to park their cars outside so that you could keep the garages full of your stuff!

Here in the states we have folks that move stuff all over the country as a full time job. If it fits on a 40 foot trailer they move it. Load and unload for you for a price. HotShots They could probably get 2 cars on a trailer plus maybe a few big parts. You don't have to do everything yourself.

I think u need to put a hitch on the blue nomad drop in the new motor and hook up a U-Haul trailer and tow the chevelle with a load back to the new place. That I would like to see

More of a Chevelle guy than a tri-five guy but if it were me, I would be doing the loaded down Uhaul including the big block for the gold 57 AND the small block for the blue Nomad and drag the Nomad back on a trailer. The Nomad is much closer to being ready to enjoy and it deserves to be at the new DD headquarters.

I love your silly winter hat. You need an independent broker buddy, you'll know what I mean when you meet them. The cost is the cost for transportation, whether you get them Uhaul or have them delivered, it works out the same even with your time at minimum wages.

One of my buddies just sold his Ford pu to a local guy. He listed it on the other side of the states sold it for three times the amount he bought it for and just had to meet the transport guy. It's sometimes better than what you would get for them locally. Turns out that is exactly what that dude's job is and he is killing it. Just a thought. I know Danny says she likes the Nova but it's actually something she's not going to use. So why not recoup those funds. She can only drive one vehicle at a time. And I don't think there's been one video where she's driving it. She doesn't need an expensive learning car. I mean honestly between Grandpa this Nova a 57 Chevy a raptor and God knows what else this dodge just popped up. I know you got a lot of money in vehicles considering that one is done for the most part why not send it to someone who can use it more often than once or twice a year. You're constantly going to be working on it because it's never getting started. Anyways this was a good video happy New Year's to y'all.

I got ya when you said smell colors. 42 years ago I painted lacquer on a Bronco for a friend in a clear plastic wrapped home made temporary paint booth inside a heated tractor shed the middle of winter. No vent or fan provision. Yep, I could feel the colors before I was half done!
