Well... Square and Nintendo finally worked together to let it happen! ♥ The SMRPG remaster looks great visually, seems very faithful, has Yoko Shimomura at the helm for music... And with a little luck it hopefully opens the door for a true sequel or geno/mallow in more games in the future! Can't wait; I'm super excited!!!

Ah, now I must say, last night, was a bit rough. I couldn't fall asleep, and didn't know why. But I remembered this song. So, I opened up my Android, put this on, and fell asleep after 5 minutes. And I dreamt... I dreamt that I was there, with Mario, Bowser, Peach, Mallow and Geno. We were there, fighting Smithy for the last star and for peace for the whole kingdom. Oh, it was amazing. And after that, the parade started. Soon after that, I woke up, happy and refreshed. All thanks to this amazing piece. Thank you so much for making this. :)

dude no way. i was meditating once back in 2012 and i experienced this vision, basically this conscious experience of this dreamlike phenomenon and i saw mallow, mario, geno and everyone else fighting an enemy. they were all moving at once and the way it looked was the same graphics as the original game. they were in a place that wasnt in the game but it looked like it could've been because the visuals were the same as in the game. i think i had this experience because i was playing this game a lot my whole lifetime pretty much. there's actually so much wisdom i was able to pull from the game, my favorite game of all time!

Geez i miss Geno soo much, all the memories, this game is special to me, i never played it at the time of the snes, i was a child, my gaming story started with the Psone but i found this game on a emulator and i was intrigued that it was soo different from the other Marios i knew but i like it and decided to play and i enjoyed every second of it, plus the ending was one of the two endings in a videogame that ever managed to made me cry, the other was a game called silent shattered memories, that one was soo sad and it got me soo hard BUT this, this one was beautiful, Powerful, i couldn't help but cry, i didn't want it to end, i didn't wanted to say goodbye. How i wish to have Geno for smash, i don't think is impossible but i don't trust the leak either, who knows what future has in store. Please Sakurai, you said it!

If Geno doesn't end up making it into the Smash DLC, I'll be back here and everywhere else to say my final farewell. Edit: I'm sad to say we've lost both Geno and Doom Slayer to this mii fighter freakshow. It seems as though smash is done. Maybe a future port with a few new characters, stages, and music if we're lucky, but I guess it's truly over. The Ultimate Quadfecta is still incomplete, FPS' overlord didn't make it nor did it's apprentice, and the two beloved platformers didn't join the fight either. Goodbye Geno, may I see you in Rivals of Aether.

@@meganinja456 I'll be eternally saddened if Geno doesn't get any future appearance that isn't some costume. Geno's been crumpled up and tossed to the side for 25 whole years, all he's had is one awesome but obscure game, a cameo in Superstar Saga (that didn't even reappear in the 3DS Remake), a spirit, and a bootlegged costume. And despite the costume, I still have my hopes up for him to be actual Smash DLC. After all, the costume has NO changes from Smash 4, it's not even deluxe and it has no music. Besides, it had no special reveal and Sakurai had THREE chances to acknowledge Geno and his fans (being two twitter screenshots and the Sephiroth Presentation) like he did back when Cloud was revealed for Smash 4, and he still hasn't. You know what I think is gonna happen? June comes around, Crash and Doom Slayer, two of the most requested characters for smash, get into smash ultimate as the final two fighters. I mean, they're basically inevitable. Nintendo and Activision are great partners, and so is Bethesda. I'm willing to bet that Doom Slayer is even MORE likely considering that there's a Doom bundle coming out for switch soon, a Bethesda Games discount was recently announced, Doom's basically the god-father of FPS games, AND the whole Doom series is on switch. Crash's Reveal: The original Smash 64 trailer with all of the characters in costumes fighting, and all of a sudden, Crash arrives and joins in on the fight and everyone dukes it out. Doom Slayer's Reveal: Sort of like Sephiroth's. Dharkon is covering the world is darkness and is about to take over the world, when all of a sudden, some metal Doom music (BFG Division, Meathook, etc) starts playing and then Doom Slayer comes running up and shoots at Dharkon, and then he slices Dharkon with the Crucible. After the final fighter's presentation, Sakurai reveals that he has one more thing planned for us all, being a bonus, standalone fighter. A reveal trailer similar to Piranha Plant's reveal is shown. It's the same reveal, Mario walks up to Piranha Plant, Piranha Plant attacks Mario, and our beloved hero from Super Mario RPG, Geno, shoots Piranha Plant into the distance and Geno is finally back. Idk, something just tells me that Sakurai hasn't spoken a word about Geno for a reason. Geno is long overdue, as he was going to be Brawl DLC. Sakurai has stated that he loves Geno and thinks he would be a perfect choice for smash. If Geno's chances were truly gone, that costume would have been deluxe, or Sakurai would have at least acknowledged Geno like he did in smash 4. And I'm aware that this is a very risky prediction and it wouldn't seem like this kind of stuff would happen, but that's the point. Sakurai is VERY unpredictable, so I go all out with my predictions. Sorry about this being basically the length of an essay, but I REALLY have to go into detail when explaining my predictions.
