I freeformed for about 4 almost 5 months than let my wife retwist them into two strand twist I was wondering does that reset locking progress ? Because my hair was pretty much locked up when I got my retwist

Did you mention what product you used to retwist his hair? I know you said it was primarily water and oil but you occasionally used gel, what gel was it?

Eco styler gel! A very tiny amount though because it’s really heavy and strong. A lot of people in this community recommend aloe vera gel but I have not tried it yet. Thanks so much for being here 💖
