We also have our manang at home. Actually, they are three sisters who stayed with us since we were born. But only one remained and she was the panganay in their family. She did not marry and never had a family of her own, and she devoted most of her life taking care of us siblings until before she passed way last 2017. We never treated nor called her yaya, we only call her our Manang and I am proud to say that she is a true member of our family! And not only her, but with her original family as well. I miss her so much and appreciate her a lot and I owe her a lot! So to all of the ones who have their yayas or manangs at home, especially the ones who are loyal to your family and loves you already, please take good care of them. Because even if we don't mind their work at home, they are the only ones we could depend on with the things we cannot do..like cleaning and cooking and even securing our homes when we're out. Treat them as a true member of the family and love them with all your heart. And when the time comes that they need to go back home and cannot work and serve anymore, that they are truly happy and fulfilled and even their families will love you and even treat you as a part of their own as well. Believe me. God Bless to all, always!!!
