This is gonna sound crazy but I also have 3 or 4 foundations that I want to pan next year, and what I decided to do was mix them all together in an airless pump bottle and amazingly it is soooo much better than any of the individual foundations, both in shade and formula!! It's like they all complement each other's shortcomings wonderfully!

Hailey inspired me to make a frankenfoundation to use up the dregs of 3 different foundations. It's nearly finished, and I'm actually going to miss it when it's finally gone. It shouldn't be that surprising, I suppose - I had already bought and heavily used all 3, so there must have been something that I liked about them all.

Hi Sweets. Old haggard dry under eye person here. This year I tried the Natasha Denona Concealer and it blew my face off.. Great coverage, light feeling, very workable and the shade range,... chef's kiss.

I came back just to rewatch. I still love this video. I would recommend trying the new Gucci concealer without powder cause it says after a little while. And I would recommend the Christian Louis Vuitton balm concealer/foundation, I quite like it so far.

It is expensive but I swear by the cle de peau concealer and under eye pen for my nearly 50 (!) year old skin. Don’t use foundation now - just spot conceal. Eyeing the ND eye primer for when my urban decay is done. Great job paring some back!

Please enjoy your face mists and use them (up). They will eventually go bad and then you'll be sorry that you haven't used them while they were good. Especially with the non replaceable ones it would be sad. I had to learn this the hard way with expensive perfumes I almost never used and which were discontinued many years ago. I'm still sad about them.

I have been on the struggle bus recently when it comes to base products. I'm now 42, and though I still have combo skin, the texture of it has changed so much over the past year or so. Everything seems to either highlight my pores, settle into fine lines, or amplify the vellus hairs on my face. Sometimes, on extra special days, it's all three at the same time! I've been focussing on skincare to start with the best possible canvas - it never used to make a huge amount of difference to how my makeup looked, but now acids, retinoids and niacinamide are essential to my continued happiness 😂. I tried dermaplaning to get rid of the vellus hairs, but that was a massive error, my skin did *not* appreciate that, so I think I just have to live with the finer hairs and just attack the 'tache.

Watching your horde evolve over the years has been fascinating, and also helped me be honest with myself about the makeup I have and how I feel about it. Speaking of makeup, as an immensely pale 36 year old with perpetually dry skin (Farmacy Honey Halo is also my Holy Grail), really hecking crepey under-eyes, and dark circles from birth, I quite like the the Kulfi concealer. For more general face blur I like the Danessa Myricks blurring (har har accurate) balm and Dior powder-no-powder. I think any of those might be worth a poke if you spot them in store.

Enjoyed seeing the makeup! ❤ I'd suggest Chanel's Les Beiges Complexion Touch for concealer/spot foundation, pick up a sample of the Sublimage concealer too. It has an annoying jar, I decant a little into another container. So many ladies I know tossed out their concealers after trying it. Haus Labs foundation is worth a look, I use the 00 shade to lighten other foundations, the finish is very nice and it mixes well.
