@@janetnash Such a smart smart boy! I have to say, Dear Janet, that I was channeling you last night and will do so again over the next few days. I have a wedding later this month and I'm making some alterations to my dress. I am NOT a sew-er. I get frustrated doing "straight lines" on my machine. The sewing I'm doing on my dress is by hand with a very fine needle and I keep picturing you sewing and how relaxing you make it look. I hear you in my head, "slow stitching" and "gentle creating" and take a lot of deep breaths. Love that antique needle book what an amazing little piece of history.

I have had my eyes and my mind set on some scrappy fabric broaches as of late. You may have nudged me just a little closer to actually doing something.😂 I bought an old sewing box a year or so ago from an old collection shop and it was such fun going through it and imagining the hands and heart that mended and created with the contents. There’s a part of me that hopes there are things that I have kept & treasured in my life that another will one day stumble upon and ponder the same. I just love that! I sooo enjoy seeing you outdoors enjoying nature with Freddie and the boys! Those birds…🤍 If I were there, I should think that I would close my eyes and drift off to a dreamy sleep. So wonderful! 🍃🫖🌿 Thank you!

You’re so right - what adventures have these needles been through? What have they created? So many stories they could tell I’m sure!
