Barb’ra 🎶🎵 I was thinking about that song too !! I love that little house, it’s always had that colour scheme for as long as I can remember, the sash windows are original. Just think the park was once farm land, this was the farm house belonging to 3 local large estates. Anne thank you so much. I never tire of looking through the buttons, collected and received over the years and then there is the story of the button factory skip ( a skip is filled with rubbish ! then picked up by a lorry ) when it was closing down. Have a creative week Anne.

Love your buttons! The "hook" buttons I always called shank buttons. Whether or not that's the proper wording, I just don't know! 🤣 What a lovely walk... That cottage is beautiful! 😍 I plan on doing a button video at some point... I'm trying to make videos for people who don't have much and can make stuff from their simple household items.

I recently cut some wonky hearts from an old quilt. I want to start a slow stitch mass make project but haven't had the MOJO to start. I think one of these days I'm going to turn my electronics off and put on some soft music. I can just pick up a heart and have a play. It's been forever since I've done any slow stitching. I have arthritis in my hands now and holding a needle for very long makes it ache, but I've been pondering on an idea so a quiet, no media day with soft music may just be the thing. Thank you Janet!

A junk Journal friend whom I am in touch with on a regular basis suggested your channel to me. I am so grateful for it not only do I enjoy the lovely things you make but most of all you remind me to breathe deep. This is very important for me I'm on oxygen 24/7 because my oxygen in my lungs has problems getting into my bloodstream.. your voice is so calming and relaxing. Janet loved my Tuesday treat and I even got the right day 😂. Love slow stitching I’m making fabric postcards again it’s an easy sew. I love buttons if you need pale blue or lilac I seem to have way too many. I made paper buttons a few weeks back but keep forgetting to use them. I think my desk is too cluttered. Wednesday was good I got some of my book of small playing cards done, just a couple of pages to do. They look really nice with the ephemera on. Friday I did a few other things to get ready for next week. Our monthly paint is flowers so I downloaded a lovely flower pic to trace and colour and add a bit of my own as well. Next Wed we start on a new project. Also Julie has got the computer going for You tube so we are going to get some tutorials at the art class as a lot of our members are older (like me) but they don't get to the art classes on a Friday. Some People mostly do what they want and sell their art

I had a few boxes sitting here to cut what I want for journal pockets or belly bands. And I had one that was silver with snowflakes on it. I was going to toss because it's too thick a cardboard for pockets, but I drew circles around them and cut them out while listening to your gentle voice and made buttons! I never would have thought of it, i would have tossed the box long ago and been so sad when I saw this video, but it just happened to still be laying here just waiting for this delightful idea! I just love you soooo much!

Snow has been predicted in the Alpine regions of Victoria today, that's not far from us so it is very cold today, hard to believe snow falling in late Summer ❄☀, good weather though for gently creating indoors.
