I am just in awe how the goats just follow you through the forest. Those walks bring me back to my childhood living in the country in Germany. My grandmother and I would go into the forest to pick mushrooms….sooo good and beautiful memories. No doubt the two of you are living the dream ❤

If you could find someone to do a painting on the new pump house to look like a continuation of the grass and surrounds that would be incredible…… I’ve seen it done and it completely masks the object so that the object becomes one with the landscape. I really enjoyed your walnut foraging Bee❤

@theindieprojects That was wise. You don't need to get a hernia or create internal adhesions and scar tissue. Maybe find a nice, flat area overlooking a stream for the camper/caravan and use it for additional guest quarters, or when you want a stay-cation on your property.

Actually the 'slight' error on your part, most likely made it more durable. The constant flex with just the laminate may have not been so durable, as the flexing may have made the leaf break up, this will last longer. It's beautiful. 🥰

Black walnuts drop in the spring with the thick green cover that turns black later. Squirrels love to eat them. You need a hammer to crack them open, hulls are so thick. Looks like you have english walnuts that also fall in the spring. Love watching the goats and chickens. Glad Theo is back and had a beautiful trip. Amazing watching him move that future pump house. Great work.

Asthma with allergies here. You may also want to adjust/add allergy meds if you aren't already. Sometimes some things bug the lungs but not the sinuses.

Hi B and Theo , beautiful B I must say you’re absolutely radiant. I just love you so much. I always say to people that say they’re overweight more to love some of us have a hard time trying to control our weight, and I know how I knees and unfortunately asthma is one of those bad things that can happen to anyone skinny , thin and over weight people can have it. Walnut production in Portugal starts at the end of September - I believe squirrel got to them before you.

Stinging nettles and Eyebright are a great herbal combo to ease your allergic responses and make a good tea or tincture. An herb that works well as a bronchial dialator (as this is the area that constricts during asthma episodes) is cannabis although don’t know it’s classification in Portugal. Love the goat walks! You are looking so much happier and healthier Bea. Glad your recovery and strength are improving as just walking around the property is grand exercise. I get seasonal asthma especially in the driest parts of summer. There’s some grasses or trees that set me off and it’s the most awful experience not being able to breath, plus my throat often closes over. Very scary. Also I think you’re looking amazing, healthy happy and fit ❤

My neighbour has a huge black walnut tree and this year there’s been no walnuts. The last few years the branches have been so laden they’ve broken off. This year not a nut.

We have a similar concrete container - about three times the size. Made in the 1930's, ours was a village wine vat. The hole at the side (of ours) connected to a massive tap. It was taken out of our barn some time ago and was dumped the other side of our track. I have just grown passionflower and roses around it cover the concrete and was thinking of using it as a back up water storage tank. watch out for spiders in those dark quiet corners. I got bitten by a Mediterranean recluse spider two months ago and thought I would lose my finger.
