Only critique I would say is to have a Changelog listed somewhere on your website so we know when new firmware is released. Currently, we are having to download the 6500ex firmware zip, unzip it and then look at word document with changes. I have about 5-6 of the same zip file since they are just renamed to the same zip package. Having a changelog with a date on your website would help us.

The issue I ran into is getting my inverters into standby mode because they wouldn’t go into standby without another power source (other than battery) for more than maybe 20-30 seconds. I didn’t have any hard lines run to it from the grid so I had to make two short extension cables and hook them into the AC source after turning down setting 11 to only charge at 10amps. Good thing I’m a software engineer and figured that out on my own. There should be a way to get the units into standby mode if only powered by battery but, if there is, it escapes me.

This works but you STILL have the old guidance document listed prominently on your website and no link to this video. Easily missed if not looking closely at the download files.

Ditto. I bought a 6500 paired with EG4 batteries about 8 months ago, purely because of the promise of "integration" between the BMS and inverter. Since day one I have had Error 61 randomly occur, with no proper fix available. (Using custom battery settings and not having the BMS talk to the inverter is NOT a proper fix.) I am Mac only with no access to a PC. Signature Solar: please provide a Mac solution, or swap out my inverter for one with the current firmware at no cost so the system works as it was promised. Thanks in advance!

Agreed. Assumptions are made: 1. Everyone is a Windows user or at least owns one PC. 2. We understand the industry concepts and “language” of these DIY systems. Every “easy” comment I’ve heard has been met with confusion, “Common questions” videos say refer to the manual - which is why they are questions to begin with, and so on. I understand why Eco-Flow is so popular. Lastly, many “default” settings were not MY settings when I powered things up. I won’t apologize for being a complete novice, willing to learn but being out of my wheel-house after spending the cash and getting “plug-n-play” equipment that is anything but. An example that highly technical people, not “user-focused” people write for you, your prompt after the update is “Programming successfully”. That’s not a proper sentence! Now that my whining is done, what do Mac users do?
