Kelly was a terrible defensive coordinator for Colorado. He should have easily made adjustments to those crossing routes but he was like a deer in the headlights that game. and I blame Coach Prime too. As a HOF defensive back he should have been coaching that. Why have coach Prime there if he cannot coach the defense backs better on something so simple to stop? I watched the game with some girls and even they knew when the crossing routes were going to happen so this game exposed Colorado's defensive coaching.

Exactly. Ima be honest... Prime gives his assistants too much authority. He gon have to be way more hands on if he wants to be successful at the P5 level. But yeah this, defense was beyond awful. Sean Lewis took alot of blame.... And deserved... But this defense was simply inexcusable. Whats even worse is the LB coach... No matter how many repeated mistakes... Kept the same guys in there. My thing is... Wtf was the guy determining pt looking at? No consequences in terms of loss playing time for bad play?
