Thank you. I am pretty happy with how it came out. The stiffer chassis will be nice too.

That did take some crazy tumbles. Looks great after the rebuild. Hopups really make it pop.

Thank you. It sure did. It’s worth it though. Logan and I had a great time with it. 👍

Remember order up some kimbrough spurs they are rated for high gearing temps but make sure you get the ones for the slipper eliminator

I ordered one that just came in. It’s not what I put in the car for the video though. Saving it for when we try to go faster. 👍

I don’t usually hear or see TT02 spur gears melting. Even at 80 which isn’t crazy fast. I’m sorry but I didn’t notice…are you using the aluminum motor mount? It looks like you are not. You could try adding the aluminum mount (holds up against heat and distortion) and add a 40mm cooling fan over your motor.
@powersmodelgarage6 ай бұрын
It is a Yeah Racing adjustable aluminum motor mount. I was using really small and cheap spurs. I have purchased much higher quality ones now. That should help. I do need to add the motor fan. It gets pretty hot.
@aut0bahn6 ай бұрын
@@powersmodelgarage I’ve heard the adjustable motor mounts on the TT02 can slip. Effecting the mesh. I have used the Tamiya ones which are great but you can’t go higher than 29T on the pinion I believe and that’s using the 62 or 63T spur. Good luck.

I replaced the dog bones with Yeah Racing Universals. The diffs are stock packed with thick marine grease.

Sorry.. complete utter total noob here doing research... but WHY so much toe in at rear and so much toe out in front? I get a lil toe out up front can help turn the car, but that looked extreme to me. Please educate my dumb ass😂
@powersmodelgarage3 ай бұрын
😂 well it is a bit extreme I admit. For racing around a track, it would be awful I’m sure. The rear helps keep it stable at high speed and the front helps keep it straight with light steering corrections. It seems to make the gyro work a little better. This car really only goes straight fast.
@illegalLettuce3 ай бұрын
@@powersmodelgarage gyro???
@powersmodelgarage3 ай бұрын
@illegalLettuce It has a gyroscope in it to make small adjustments to the steering automatically to keep it going straighter
