This crew is so strong even at the start. My D4 at T6 with 4.8 power almost took down a T7 7.2 power Augur with strike team. It also works really well against the explorer crew.

Iy would have been a great event if I was able to do it.. the event didn't even load and when I relaunched the game it was taken away.. so blah.. as per strike teams their is no way to max them out unless your paying to do so.. their is no direct sourcing for them at all I'm still trying to get my strike teamim missing all but one officer...

Good info on Damar, will have to investigate. On Pilum v. Newton must know status of Ortega procs. If Ortega does not proc say 1-2 times, the Newton is out of luck. Also some other research and Baj favors might come to impact the fight.

I was able to unlock Garrak and was l character shard away to unlock Damar but the DS9 event ended. Oh, well.....

I will like January assuming they can actually execute the launch without the gross buffoonery we saw in the 1st 2 months of the DS9. As for Garak and Dukat, yes they very much hated each other but they also were exceptionally devastating fighting back to back against the 1st attack on DS9.

That is absolutely wild that you can convert critical hits into 0 damage hits. I'd have expected a floor at normal damage.

Even more wild is that they know of this problem since introduction of the cardassian armadas. And they only fixed gaila instead of reworking this calculation to fix this problem forever.

@@ShinjiteruYT as a strategy, I don’t necessarily think that debuffing damage to zero is intrinsically bad, and or even a bug (though it’s certainly very atypical), but it is odd that it seems to be only critical hits that have the chance/damage scaling and the inversion. Could you build a low critical hit chance crew that could beat this with normal hit damage scaling?

just to be clear this isn't a bug or a problem. This is part of the design. There is a counter. It's also not new. There's already another officer wh ocan do this in PVP.

Lorca or Gorkon I guess. I think Lorca > Gorkon since Gorkon needs critical hits to get hull breach active. Garak only increases crit chance if the enemy already has hull breach applied, so not sure if the 10% increased crit chance of gorkons captains ability will be much help to get hull breach applied.
